We left M&N to sleep even later and linger by the pool since their flight back to Dallas wasn't until this evening. The rest of us said goodbye to Coronado Springs Resort and put our luggage in the holding room before taking a shuttle to Downtown Disney for some lunch and a few last minute purchases.
We zipped through the mega gift shop...
And hit the Christmas store to select ornaments representing our fun vacation...
We ordered lunch, but realized we were running out of time to catch our ride to the airport, so we grabbed the food to go, jumped on the shuttle back to the hotel to retrieve our luggage, hugged M&N goodbye and jumped on the airport shuttle just in the nick of time! And to think we didn't have a schedule...sheesh.
The flight home was Kinsley's least favorite ride of the trip,
but she eventually fell asleep and dreamt of Peter Pan's Flight and Epcot fireworks.
This was as great a trip as we hoped it would be!
Here are some of our observations:
Mid-April is a good time to go to Disney World regarding temperatures and crowds...
No one at Disney seems to mind the rain...everyone deals with it and doesn't let it dampen their spirits...
Spending at least 4 days in the parks was enough to keep us from feeling rushed...
Six months is a good age to bring a baby...they are old enough to experience some rides and young enough to tolerate the stroller and not be afraid of the characters...
It was fun to split up into various smaller groups for periods of time...
The meal plan worked well for us...
If you want to eat at a good restaurant on the meal plan at night, it's best to get reservations well-ahead of time (Jeff was right!)...
It's important for everyone to feel they can go do their own thing and meet up with the group later...

Hmmm, wonder where we should go next...
